E85 Alarm issue

Wrighty wrote: Thu Nov 23, 2017 6:26 pm Bit of an update with this...

1 week with the dash cam mounted but not plugged in - alarm still goes off
1 week with it removed completely from the car - alarm still goes off

So i'm confident it's not related to this now

Also its not just isolated to my driveway anymore, it sounds anywhere I park

It doesn't sound when I lock the car with the key in the lock but thats not ideal

Looking into the tilt sensor location now and checking the condition of my battery
Try locking it with the remote and then disarming the interior sensors by pressing the lock button a second time within a second or so. If it stops going off, it's a pointer...

Cheers Mike I'll try that next before buying a new battery.

I'm guessing this will indicate a faulty interior sensor if the alarm still sounds?

if its ok when you lock the car with the key in the door then its most likely the tilt switch
