Hi All,
I have had a search given I'm sure this comes up fairly regularly. Given there were 19,000 results though, it's a lot to sift through to find out what I'm looking for!...
Could anyone make some recommendations for insurers for a remapped 35i?
I have tried Adrian Flux but they have quoted £950 which I consider to be too much.
For what it's worth I'm 31 with 9 years NCB, partner and mother both on quote, both with same NCB and all clean licences and no claims.
Also have extensive experience driving powerful/fast rwd cars.
Any help appreciated, thanks!

Go on the usual compare websites. Most except mods these days providing they aren't over the top.
I've just insured my 35i with remap and exhaust for a lot less than that and similar details, 34 with wife on insurance etc. I'm sure there could be other factors that may influence tho such as postcode, and where the car is kept etc.
Worth a shot.

I had modified re-mapped cars for the last 7 yrs.
Try Esure, Admiral
I gone to a specialist company only pay £450 business mileage, and unlimited track days - Manning insurance

providing the power gain is less than 20% Churchill will insure the car and in may case it was about £20 a year more on my 35i which would have made it around £300 all in..

Thanks for the suggestions, I will try them today.
Interesting regards Chris Knott, another enthusiasts forum I've been on for years is sponsored by Chris Knott too but they've always been hopeless with quotes. Might be different for these cars so I'll give them a go!

Final cost was £509 with A-Plan, seems fairly sensible to me.
