Could someone please measure this for me?

Post by sunnydays » Sun Jun 11, 2017 4:19 pm

Hey all, recently had Eibach springs fitted and forgot to measure the car before hand, could some one please measure the distance from the bottom corner of the skirts to the ground on the drivers side. (Someone on stock M-Sport suspension)

Image below with blue circles highlighting the 2 points (rear and front).

Thanks guys!

Do both those cars have the same size wheels and same suspension?

Is that stock M-Sport suspension or aftermarket? If stock how many miles on the springs?

Currently measuring in @
Front: 134mm (makes sense as eibachs claim is 10mm drop up front)
Rear: 145mm (does not make sense as the off drivers side rear is measuring in at 160mm)
Going to have to find a perfectly flat spot to measure again, as even my drive has a slight slope to it, will report back, Much appreciated guys!

Thanks all

you can better measure between center of the wheel to the wheel arch. then differences in rim/wheels/tyres will not be taken into account

Never measured before. Explains occasional contact with sleeping policemen. :)

The proper way of measuring is from the centre of the wheel (Centre cap) to the top of the arch - thus eliminating wheel and tyre size
