NEW MEMBER :-D - Pics - BOV upgrade decision
Hi all,
I'm new to the Z4 forum, Having only picked up my Z4 35i sdrive a couple of months ago!. Couple pictures added !.
I've done a few things already;
- Sprayed Alloys Gloss black
- Fitted Twin intake cones
- Fitted JB4
- Cat back with new tailpipes and sport backboxes (secondary cat delete) happening soon
- M sport front bumper bought need to spray silver and fit - Current SE bumper modified
- 7" FMIC ordered
The last item on my list is upgrading the Charge pipe and BOV , as I don't want to go too crazy with modding this car as its nice the way it is.
My question, I've seen a Forge BOV - FTAQYH6YRWG4 Single kit for the 335i , Will this fit ?
What are your suggestions if not ?
Many thanks
Jon

Welcome to the Forum Jon, great looking E89 - I'm a big fan of black alloys on certain colours, works well with silver.
Bet you're getting a sweet sound out of that exhaust, gonna get louder still after the secondary Cat delete.

Welcome on board John. The Silver sits beautifully on those Black rims.

Welcome to the forum OP.
Your car looks great with the black wheels.
As an E86 owner I can't help with your question, but hopefully someone will be along soon who can.

Car looks good!
Do you have any feedback on the JB4? Worth the cost? I'm contemplating one for my 35i.

Thanks. That's me out with the SW kit car club. Zed looks like a right fat boy along side those boys, but no problem keeping up though.Jonnoh2017 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2017 10:48 pmCheers buzyg!

Cheers as does yours.
Jb4 is brilliant in terms of vehicle integration, steering wheel controls are a clever touch, dash indicators now flash when engine is up to temp and when to upshift.
Only nag from my side is it occasionally oscillates in drive when part throttle or let's say when in 7th and you give more throttle and it needs to downshift it surges sometimes and it's tricky to repeat to determine exactly why.
Otherwise huge gain made, so much more responsive in sport mode / manual paddles there's no issues what so ever and it's a beast.
I would say ultimately it's likely to have less issues on a manual but for me , I'm happy I bought it.
Great bit of kit.
