Road trip

Hi, been packing the zed for a week away in France starting tomorrow. All seems in order & will be posting some pics as we go.
We have a loose itinerary & personal responsibilities (although they don't know it yet) are....
Stupot67-chief tech, in charge of fitting replacement bearing shells & turbochargers on remote French motorways
Pastry-chief troublemaker & head of wine tasting department
Smartbear-I'm the language expert & team dietitian ( also in charge of getting lost)
I'm sure these roles will be juggled around a little as people get found out :P

Just remember the golden rule of convoy driving: the one at the front has the fewest stone chips on his bonnet.

Remember the mandatory greeting to all French police officers: 'Bonjour, salaud.'

And remember that the sign for 'Change of Priority' on the outskirts of towns & cities resembles a Renault badge.

Hope the lads are showing 'Crit'Air' discs, otherwhise it's a £100+ fine, I believe.

(It's a while since I've driven in France. Crossing L'Arc de Triomphe roundabout in the rush hour and then using La Peripherique in a brand new French car with French plates, but the steering wheel on the right, was actually enough to put me off for life.)
