My new 35i 7spd

Post by Jonnoh2017 » Sun Apr 09, 2017 3:23 am

Hi all.

Just joined the forum!. Also just bought my First Z4 E89 35i 7speed paddle box three days ago 😊.

So I'm planning on doing a few things to make it look more how I want it to.

- m sport bumpers
- Alloys and tyres
- Possibly quad exhaust
- Possibly uprated intake
- Possibly remap

Any info on the above would be much appreciated 😊.

I think my priority is getting different Alloys on her.
Currently she has 18s.
19s should fit fine shouldn't they ? What offset / width do people run ?
8j front 9j rear ? Wider ? Spacers ?

Any details would be great 😎

Thanks all.
Jon

Hi and welcome to the forum
All the mods you're thinking about are possible with enough money :)
19's can be fitted no problem as BMW supply these as a option take a look at this thread it might give you a few ideas what can be fitted - viewtopic.php?f=23&t=95831

Welcome to the forum OP.

I hope you like your new car. Just curious, but wondering why you bought a 35i rather than a 35iS? (Personally if I was after an E89 I would have searched for a 35i so I could get a manual, but yours isn't).

Did anyone mention photos?

Hahahha cheers for your replies people!.

I'll sort a couple pictures now πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜Ž.

And I just found a zed for really good money. Wanted the paddles and couldn't justify the extra wonga for a 35is. When mapping mine should see similar power 😊😊.
Pictures to follow 😎

Congratulations on your new car .... I'd leave it before making any drastic alterations personally ... BMW designed and built a very nice car so I'd live with it for a while before making any drastic changes! Your car, of course, but I sometimes wonder if people don't make changes for the sake of it. Sometimes you see some monstrosities covered in add on stuff, exhausts, wings, spoilers etc which often turn a very pretty car into something else. Whatever you do I'm sure you'll enjoy it ...

Hi my 3.5i DCT has the M Sport bumpers fitted and 19inch alloys and I personally think it looks fantastic. What do you think?
