Just changed from E85 to E89 and having used a BMCables diagnostic cable and software, I now want to buy a similar device to use on my E89 35i. What is the best type to use and what should I look for in such a device.
I currently have a E brake fault as described in viewtopic.php?f=45&t=95516 will such a device allow me to reset the E-brake?
Thanks

You want to get hold of a VM with ISTA/D and INPA. That's the cheapest and best diagnostic solution for any BMW. You just need a laptop and a £30 cable.Zikim wrote:Just changed from E85 to E89 and having used a BMCables diagnostic cable and software, I now want to buy a similar device to use on my E89 35i.
