I love the CSL's wheels but i prefered them in the brighter original finish, i think i would have sprayed the mirror cappings to match the wheels rather than the other way round, but thats just me.
Whichever way you still have a wonderful looking Zed

I've always thought E89s needed 19" wheels, something about the more rounded rear end that benefits aesthetically from larger wheels. (Beautiful Zed nevertheless  )

Cheers Marlon :) . Yep agreed re: 19's. I considered going to 18's as I like the 224's but have decided against these for the exact reasons you mentioned.

I am going to check out the M4 reps in the flesh as suggested by Andy but will most probably end up selling the cracked 326 + freshley painted CSL's and bite the bullet of buying a replacement rear 326 for £585 :o. Hopefully no more cracks will appear from fitting the non runflat rubber.

I've only just bought my e89 which is on 326's and was curious about CSL wheels on it (as like everyone else, I think they're a lovely wheel!) but sorry, there's something just not right about them on the e89!

What about the competition spec e92 M3 wheels / 1M wheels?

I would of thought anything from BBS would look lovely.

Other than that you're starting to talk big ££££'s in the concave 19's range.

3SDM used to sell some nice concave 1M style wheels. Might be worth a look.

Personally I think the 326's are perfect and they'll be staying on mine. They were the main thing that stopped me in my tracks whilst scrolling through autotrader!

I feel for you - I'm going through this same pain at the moment and just can't make a decision (on an E85 though).
I've been asking Mr Wilks for tyre/wheel setups to try and get things right, but there's just too much choice and I don't know what I want.
I have to agree with others that the 326's on your car look the business, but the CSL's just don't seem to do it for the E89 for some reason (sorry). The wheels on kinger's E89 (post above mine) look pretty good IMHO...

I love the 326's on an E89 and I'm afraid I'm not a fan of the CSL's on yours Wrs. I took the RF's off mine as soon as I bought it and the new rubber is so much kinder to the wheels (and my back). I know any alloy can crack but I think if I get one now it will be bad luck and not because they're 326's

Think CSLs look awesome on E89s. Just needs lowering a touch and would look fantastic a stance more like this

Tomscott ok the cat is out the bag. That post & pics contributed to my decision making process for deciding on the CSL's . Maybe it is the springs / ride height like some people have also said.

It makes a huge difference.

Even the Z4M looks like its on stilts with the standard suspension. But with some springs...

Such a cool photo

That was my favourite Zed on the forum at the time, What car do you have now Tom?

As to the wheels, look a lot better after the refurb but I still think the originals looked best.

I think its the colour on the white one which helps with the CSL wheels too, the OP's car is Black which makes them look different.
