I have some old 55w HID knocking about used on a previous car and would fit.
But I would be very concerned about the heat generated damaging the plastic halo.
Any tried these bulbs without damage?
What of bulb failure monitoring.

I can't imagine they can possibly look much better than an LED swap. That is a 2 minute, plug and play mod and you can chose different light temperatures (color) , PLUS no heat or electrical issues - they are guaranteed "no fault".

Led not as bright as HID, you cannot look directly at a HID bulb.
