E85 --> E89

Post by Z4SpPD » Wed Oct 12, 2016 10:22 am

Hello,

I was thinking on moving on from E85 to E89. However sometimes I struggle within the narrow streets of the city I live due to the fact that the E85 has a really long bonnet. Does the E89 has a bigger bonnet than the E85? Pros and Cons in general between the two models? Mainly from people who have already moved on from on to the other :driving:

I haven't driven an E89 but are you aware that the E85 and E89 are virtually identical widths and that the E89 is only about 6" longer. As for the bonnet perspective Ill leave that to others who've driven both.

Like any car once you get used to it. I had an E89 and a Coupe, and not much between them.

Believe it or not driving a Range Rover is such an easy car to drive! An E89 is a baby compared to it

E89 bonnet feels like it rises more in the middle to me than my E85 but other than that it does not feelink hugely different. You're sat right in the boot in both cars so reversing is easy and it's not exactly a large vehicle (parked next to my 645ci it looked tiny!).

Luckily most E89s have front parking sensors. Had some very lucky escapes with my old E85 and the front end almost scraping walls and high curbs. E89 has a lot more room inside between driver and passenger and maybe sat up higher and I would say the bonnet does seem higher than the E85
