Good evening, as per title please. You tube doesn't show anything so wondering if there is an easy way?

They're held in by plastic tabs around the outer edges at the back. I'd remove the air intake to get my hands between the radiator and grilles. Pop each tab one by one. Fiddly but straight forward.

They have 8 clips 3 at the top 3 at the bottom 1 at each side. You need to remove the plastic cover that's connected to the air filter couple of screws if I remember you need to be in between the radiator and front grills. Use a stubby screwdriver to unclip the grills . Hope this helps.

How do I remove my kidney grills?

Did mine 2 weeks ago, tried tugging and pulling from front but no good. Took air intake thing out from under bonnet and got access to back of grills. Still fiddley but got out with short screwdriver pressing clips down and out one at a time. When out I separated the fins from the surround and re painted in silver. Look fantastic now with no stone chips at all

Uh oh! I didn't know you couldn't pull'em out. I pulled mine out several times with no ill effects.

I grabbed and yanked like hell, they came out, no damage.

I tried to get my hands behind to get to the tabs, couldn't get to them so I pulled them and they came out. I figured I was willing to replace them anyway and had read where people do indeed pull e89 grills to remove. Not for the faint of heart maybe, but mine do pull out.

Cheers guys grills are out and new ones are in! Didn't take long either  I bought a new set of matt black grills and split them and painted the 'fins' silver, loving the shark nose menacing look. :D
