Nice - Makes it look like 35iS wil be quite sort after in a few years by the look of it.

Not exactly a common car no matter what vintage you have.

U.K. Figures
Interestingly the 30i appears to have sold better than the 28i that replaced it.

You'd expect low figures given their book price and economy figures. Hence 20i popularity as its got everything you need for day to day driving.

IIRC BMW were doing tempting PCP deals on the 2.0 going back about 5 years ago which obviously pushed up the figures.

I can't help but think the 35is will have Z4MC status regarding value in a few years, such low numbers and a powerful forged bottom end engine as standard will be very sought after, especially as the trend is for smaller and smaller hybrid engines that is only going to continue. They'll have a small niche following but from such low numbers I reckon they'll be in demand.

Feel free to shoot me down.

Yep and with a few choice upgrades (LSD) and Stage 1+ you're looking at 4.1/4.2 and very potent midrange.

Keeping mine

The figures say 0 : 62 in 4.8 - in a real world scenario there would be nothing in it - except on a wet day!

I had a look, but it's odd as it only shows TT Roadsters (150bhp) and not any TT S or TT RS specified in the Roadster variant. They must be lumped in with the coupés.

I can't see the 35iS attracting classic status. It's a good car with really strong straight-line performance but it has nothing special to hang future values on. There will be a z5 soon. The top model will be quicker, more economical and probably better made. It will be turbo like the 35iS and a roadster like the 35iS. It's not the last of anything, not a one-off oddity, it's got no racing pedigree either because the GT3 used a NA V8.
