Thought I'd post a few pics of my car. White halos, stubby, gloss black wheels and side indicators. Part debadged. One of my RX8. They are looking more alike every day!

Nice, I had an rx8 a few years ago (evolve ltd edition) is yours the 190 or the 231? Such a smooth good sounding engine, not unlike the 6 pot BMW in some ways

It's a 231. Been faultless for two years and use it every day for work. Stop start every day and never a problem. Great cars if you find a good one and incredibly cheap to buy - but not to run!

I take it you don't commute too far then, like you say great fun to drive especially when you can put your foot down, but not exactly great on fuel!

I do 20-30 miles a day to work in Liverpool then around city so not too far but all city driving. 18 mpg or thereabouts :(
Shame really as they are great sports cars, incredible road holding and addictive engine with a 9:5 red line.

Your E89 looks very purposeful John - not always something I would say about the E89 but the looks are growing on me.

Your RX8 is an absolute peach - seen it and heard it - fabulous condition and amazing sound.

How you getting on driving the new Zed?

I'm very impressed with e89. You can potter about in it as a smart posers :o coupe or stick it in sport and away you go. The dct gearbox is a cracker and the car handles well.
Next up will be replacing the run flats in the spring when the rear tyres will be in need of replacement. Also thinking of removing the 35I badge and maybe fitting small 'm sport' badges instead. Now that BMW stick 'm sport' badges on any old car I'm not bothered about it not being an 'm sport' model.

Good to hear it handles well and you've got the best of both  Interested in the DCT gearbox being well received - that's also good to hear.

Long term M owner can do what they want with badges I should think

I had the old RX7, that would do 18 to the gallon, so nothings improved.
And rebuilt the engine twice before I gave up and fitted a Ford engine.
