Finally got the 293s put on today, shod with Pirellis. There is a noticeable difference compared to the original Bridgestone shod 19".

That gets a double , I really like the 293's, they really suit the E89 IMHO, just a bugger to keep clean...

Ah, but for the first time for years, nay, DECADES, I enjoy cleaning the car!
Bought these off Barry Hughes, who had them refurbed for me. Well chuffed.
Compared to the cost of new, it meant I pretty much got the tyres for free.

Have they made a really noticible difference? Are you on non run flats?

Still on RFTs, but the extra rubber, and possibly the make, has made a difference. My Indy says that Pirelli (and Continental) are a slightly softer compound than Bridgestones.
Feels less harsh.

Need to think about spacers. Probably need to earn more brownie points first too!

Is the difference that the first photo was taken in the EU?
Why is it that people who can't take advice always insist on giving it?

Love the 293s I've seen some on E bay done in sparkling graphite, a BMW colour allegedly. Think that will be my choice when I get them refurbished.

I was seriously considering Anthracite, but settled on silver.
I think I'd have liked black with laser cut spokes, but suspect this style would not have worked.
