Unit costs £199 inc VAT. They've just updated it to the DR650S. I haven't hard wired yet but will do in the near future. The 12v socket under the glove compartment wouldn't take the adapter for some reason, possibly due to its angle so I took it to the 12v socket in the arm rest. Can't see any wires anywhere and very happy with the result.
