Z4 35i vs M235i

We digress, its the 235i I was more interested in vs the Z4

M235 is a geat package,just not what I was looking for as it was a second car I was after.
I would buy one get a test drive. Speak to your dealer & get one for a couple of days,I'am sure they will sort you out.
I got one for a friend last month & he bought it.Had all the performance parts on it,in silver very nice. He thinks it's a better package than his porker 911 C2 so maybe that tells you how good the M235 is

For me the only negative with the 235 is it's shape. Bland at best.

Yes. Not terrible looking, but not brilliant. Especially next to the M2...



Front-on it looks even more anaemic.

I would love a 235 and for me it would make a cracking daily driver and I do have lots of want for one...but I agree regards the blandness and when I've seen them out on the road they just blend in and don't look at all special which I think is a real shame.

Although I've never driven a 35i it would definitely feel a step down for me, build, refinement, drivetrain etc if I went back from my M135i to an E89, all about the drive at the end of the day, still miss the E89s looks though The Z4 just needs an update to bring it in line with the rest of the model range.
