Not on uk models. Requires a small slot piece that is on the tunnel for the cup to slot into. Never seen it retrofitted in the uk.

Ad says LHD only, perhaps tunnel component interference?

Rant coming...
It really p@€$$€$ me off that there isn't a cup holder in the e89. No where to put my San peligrino!
Even a blooming Dacia has them.
Rant over (quite a mild rant in the end).

There are two under the armrest. Inconvenient but there are some.The_Dude wrote:Rant coming...

Unfortunately I don't have them. Have some pointless integration thing for a phone I don't have.
Apparently they're pretty shallow and so almost useless unless stationary, not to mention under the armrest.

Just looked again at your pic. I have a tray where your holders are. Wonder if they were an option? Strange how we both have the pointless phone thing but you have holders and o have a tray.

Pointless to you but for others who use a cradle, like me then not pointless. I can charge my phone, use the external Ariel for enhanced reception and play my music.The_Dude wrote:Just looked again at your pic. I have a tray where your holders are. However do you have the comfort pack? Trying to work out if this was something within that. Btw they are still kak as cup holders.
Maybe they have purposely made them that way so people don't use them anyway. Considering if you are caught eating or drinking behind the wheel whilst driving you can be charged with driving without due care and attention.
