Did you consider a BBK out of interest? It's one thing I think is sorely lacking on both the 35 models.

What do you mean, sorry - the new X6 ones, or the old ones?

Nope , because imho it's too much money for "bling". The OEM discs on the 35iS are massive (Front (348mm) and rear (324mm)), but I will look to upgrade the pads (StopTech or another top brand), change the fluid (not sure if it's dot 5.1, but will upgrade if not), and HEL Performance braided hoses.

I'm having the calipers "tarted" up so they should look decent.

My money will go on an Quaife LSD, H&R springs, supersprint x-pipe and a much better FMIC before any further mods. The one gripe with the current FMIC is that intake temps rise very quickly after some spirited use. It's the first mod recommended by the N54 tuners.

No idea really, but this X6 pipe has brackets on the inside which means it should spot weld on to the old pipe. It won't be fitting on like a glove, but I think they can manage.

Will find out how they get on tomorrow to see if its a pain in the butt job or not. They cost quite a bit and seem very well made, plus I'm keen to keep as much BMW parts on as possible and only replace where better after market is available. Keeps the theme going too

FMIC..? The intercooler yes? If so will it be a thicker core or is it bigger overall, ie, taller, wider?

Yep, stands for front mounted intercooler.

Interesting that the m4 tips fit...bugger. Might be less work, oh well ! They aren't the same as the x6 ones are they?

I'm changing all the silver to the maserati colour, I don't like the OEM, and gloss not matte. May even do the roll over bars the same black as the car.

Ah the m4 has 4, I forgot, they are smaller than the X6 ones.

This is the X6 pipe. What a bus this thing is compared to our Z's ...
