Is the 35is model increasing in price?

Post by Z4M-2006 » Thu Oct 22, 2015 6:55 pm

Strange, but the base price of 35is sale stock has seemed to increase in price as this year has progressed..

With winter coming i dare say there will be a downturn in prices but £23k is the cheapest car i can find currently for sale..

And this is the next one up the ladder at 24k...

I drove mine today. Maybe the depreciation and appreciation matched and it was a free trip.

wish i'd gone a bit further now. :x  .
Why is it that people who can't take advice always insist on giving it?

Pumpkin, walnut , caramel couldn't remember the trade name
3.5is's are likely to follow the M in terms of bucking the depreciation trend , very few about so i guess the market values will fluctuate with numbers available at any one time
A real "sleeper" car in term's of kit & performance that very few cars can match for the plate year + price
Can defo see one on in garage at some point :driving: or a 3.5i if the right one wafter under my nose

I think timing plays a big part in these things, its feasible that there is a lack of cheaper cars available right now. Its certainly the case for the X4s im looking at..

Yea...

No luck on the sales then?

Have you had it in all the usual places?

Ah well you'll be lording it over us minions in your F type by then Gaz...

On topic though this is what I've been saying a few times on other posts for ages, I can see the 35is being a very sought after car, low numbers and all the standard kit, big-ish lump and power, DCT, etc etc, it may not be anything special in some people's eyes and that's more than fair enough and a good argument, but that's immaterial if It's a wanted motor, and I can see it being like the M coupe, low mile minters fetching very strong money come production end. If you keep one under 20k miles for the next 6-7 yrs and low owners, will you see most of your original new purchase money back? I would'nt bet against it....

The whole used car marketplace seems like its doing well atm a lot of cars are holding strong values.
