I'm thinking the E89 may fare better with long term value than the previous shapes as there are less in the UK

Not sure if BMW are going to be making a new Z either... in that case the 35iS is the last high performance BMW roadster for a while. I think I read somewhere that BMW mentioned the current model would last until 2018-2020, which would mean 10-12 years?
