35is Finance deals

Post by Glyn » Thu Jul 16, 2015 4:15 pm

Hi, I've been out of Z4 ownership for a few years and looking at options to get back in one, an E89 this time.

I came across this finance deal on a new 35is which seems pretty good. Has any one seen better elsewhere?

If you ever want to own it that's penny's short of £40k from your pocket :o
Fast forward 5 years i would expect the car to be worth a bit more than the balloon payment but not by much
If you can afford & want to own it then why not , if you just want to experience it why not lease for 2/3 years then peddle it ?

Given the e89 is at the end of its lifespan you're going to get amazing deals, nearly £17k discount is staggering.

In total that's the same price I paid (circa £40k) for mine (35i not is) back in 2009/10 when they were first launched. The iS didn't exist back then nor the M sport and I bought the very best of the range at the time.

Mine is going to be sold over my dead body so worth every penny to me.

£33,580.76 is the price if the finance was settled right after delivery.

Lease deals seem a lot more expensive from what I've seen.

The end of life cycle aspect did cross my mind but I've always liked the E89 and it sounds like there may never be a new Z4.

I'll keep my eye on the used market but not many 35is come up.

its a good deal for sure. mine had a slightly less dealer contribution last year but they are rare and hold their prices quite well so why not just spec one to your taste and save the hassle of looking for one and also, its easier to shell out £500 a month than 20k-33k in one go depending on whether you go new or used

stratstone derby did me a better deal than sytner nottingham so maybe worth shopping around and showing them you are ready to do the deal there and then if the figures are good for you

Dct not optional on the Is (as far as I know) so I would check the dealer hasn't got the wrong model.

Still a pretty good deal though :D

Have you tried Tony at Berry Chiswick ? They are renowned for deals on the M135i/M235i but when I approached them re a Z4 35iS their price was still far better than the other dealer I went to ! I think I ended up at £460 over 4 with a 3K deposit - but that was with almost all the extras applied.

I bought used in the end as it saved me £50 a month for a car that only had 2450 miles on it and was available. At the time I was looking to order they quoted a 6 months wait. I have no patience so used it was :D
Current : BMW M240i Convertible in black and a Smart Fortwo diesel in white :)
Previous : BMW 35iS in Mineral White and an Mercedes AMG A45 in black

On the DCT being optional I think it's just a copy and paste job on the advert from other models.

Here's the link:
