Quick Question,
is anyone aware if there is a Brake Pad Warning Light for the rear pads, I had mine in for some new rear tyres a couple of weeks ago and they did a health check which was all greens apart from an orange flag for the back pads, which they say are down to 1mm, i have had a look and indeed they are down to maybe 1 - 2 mm and just wondered when the warning light was likely to kick in, and when this happens how much life is left in the pads before its metal on metal, it`s just that I am going for a week in Wales in August and dont want it to come on mid week in the middle of Wales, if you get my drift
Thanks..

I have had the rear pads replaced after the computer told me they were needing done. Drove it for 200 miles waiting for the booking in day. So you should have the bing bong every time you start up.

Agreed...........big risk of disc damage and would think the braking may be less effective with pads that thick.Z4M-2006 wrote:If there is 1mm on the pads... Get them changed... NOW..
