Estoril Blue e89

Post by Maniac » Sun May 17, 2015 8:59 am

I just read on bimmerpost that the e89 is shortly to be available in estoril blue, one of my favourite BMW colours. It will be interesting to see what it looks like on an e89... Love/hate.

It will definitely look ace. Be interesting to see what kind of interiors they match with it.

I deliberated Estoril on my M135i but every Tom, Dick and Harry orders them in this colour and lots of 3 Series around in this colour as well which is a shame as it used to be one of the more exclusive BMW paint jobbies. As for the E89 I'm not so sure it suits, still nice to have the choice.

Hi Tim ... yep I suppose you are right .. I have just washed my Melbourne Met red 35is , and they do look good in the sun, especially with the silver wheels and mirrors

Estoril used to be a special order colour on the Z3 and was the preserve of the M cars years ago but BMW have made it a standard colour over the years which I always thought was a shame. Would be interested to see it on the E89, one more colour the choose from if I come back to the Zed next year :?

Don't you have Valencian Orange? I would personally stick with that. Estoril blue is an amazing colour expect now BMW have made it avalible to the masses it is everywhere on every car it would seem. Just not that special anymore which is a shame. I'm sure with that being avalible they will shift a few in that colour and Valencia Orange will still be a rarer colour.
