Still not got round to doing this but just noticed that where your phone cradle was in the compartment is on the opposite side from ours.
We have the 2 cup holders and the phone cradle in the compartment but the cup holders are on the passenger side to start with.
Unless I have read something into the pics thats not right.

I did think where did you see a phone cradle but it's in the comments. I think really there should have been a full before picture as well as the finished product as like you my cradle is on the drivers side and the cup holders are on the passenger side. Although it is commented on, there is nothing to show it being like that. I've never had a UK car with the phone cradle on any other side and that includes a E46, E61 & E88

I've never used a cup holder in a car yet! :D
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

You may want to use some neoprene for this? Easily cut, ordered from eBay (for example, here) and easily bonded (using rubber cement). Ducktape adhesive doesn't look good after a while... and some are corrosive. Ducktape itself also becomes brittle after a period of exposure, especially in dry and warm environments.
You can also get neoprene with a self adhesive backing

It's kak! It's also really badly placed. Ideal if your maybe parked up somewhere but not big enough for my reusable thermal cup and I like my arm rest and use that whilst driving.

If I need a drink it's normally about the same time as I need to stretch my legs and have a pee!
The older you get, the frequency increases.

I find it the perfect fit for my key and it's little sucky keyring if I've taken it out my pocket.

Great! God knows how long it will take me to get anywhere the older Mike gets. We can't even get to Berwick and he's already bursting! In fact I had to stop twice going to Newcastle and he needed again upon arrival! I don't get that much hassle from my nephews.

Comfort access with the 1 series was epic for starting. The key can be anywhere in the car. This includes between the battery & removable tow bar holder in the boot... which lead to an interesting 45 min when I got to my destination and wanted to lock the car .
