My (soon to be delivered) Z4 2.0 Sdrivei M Sport
Hi All,
Firstly thanks to Angie4m on here for helping to answer a few questions before I took the plunge.
I recently parted with my Audi TTS and decided to go for a change with the Z4. The car is being prepped and fully serviced over the next few days so should be available for delivery from BMW end of next week.\
I wondered if anyone knew if BMW are able to change the halo's to LEDs or whether this has to be done as an aftermarket modification?
I also wondered if someone knew the cost/part-numbers of the Highline Edition black from grills?
Thanks,
Chris
Here are the dealer pics:
Extras listed as follows (which I assume is just the media and comfort packages!):
Black Sapphire paint.
Automatic transmission M Sport leather steering wheel.
Cruise control with brake function.
Heated seats.
Folding exterior mirrors.
BMW Professional navigation system.
Wind deflector.
Extended storage.
Extended lighting.
Enhanced Bluetooth telephone functionality.
BMW Assist.
Sport automatic transmission.
USB audio interface.
19" Double-spoke style 326 M alloy wheels.
Front and rear park distance control (PDC).
Auto dimming rear view mirror.

Have a look at the Angel Eyes to DRL topic.
I swapped mine for LED's.

Very nice choice of car and colour combo there, good spec too! Glad you managed to find one that fitted your requirements. As per the above BMW will not change your Angel eyes to LED unfortunately but it's a straight forward modification that you should be able to do for around £50 and a wee bit time on your part.
Hopefully the weather is good for you picking it up and you can get that roof down!

As above for the led. Simple change of bulb.
With regards the black grills. If you put a 'wanted' in the section on the forum, you might find someone that's selling them. Or set up an eBay search. I think bmw charge a fair bit for them. There is also a helpful guide somewhere in here to swap them over.

Thanks I have had a read.Alpine Z wrote:Have a look at the Angel Eyes to DRL topic.

The LUX LED's are rather expensive. Is the general consensus that these are the only bulbs that come close to the BMW lights or is there a more reasonably priced option at all?
