How is that different to the one in the glovebox then Angie? I presume they are different as they wouldn't put two of the same in surely?

Ah the armrest one just allows you to play stuff through it and not add data right?

Correct :thumbsup: I kept trying to add the music and thought I was going mad until I did it via the glovebox.

The actual positioning of the one in the glovebox is bmws daftest design choice ever. Could they make it any harder to get to? :headbang:

Mine has no changer. Annoying as I wanted to load some of the otherwise useless DVDs they insist on packaging with BDs. Anyone retrofitted a DVD changer? The cutout for it in the glovebox at least holds the documents folder nicely.

Just put all my music onto a USB stick, I'm using that now instead of an Ipod. Very handy, I put all the files on as a mixture of formats from my ITunes library, the car system sorts it out and gives a reasonably good interface menu. Even sorts out the folders that I had the files in.

I think that this is actually sounding better than doing it through the Ipod. Better dynamic response, although the music source files are the same. Maybe it's my old ears, or maybe the Ipod method introduces a small reduction in quality.
