It's gone, I was interested in this. Chap put a deposit down before even seeing the car (no surprises at that price!).

My 23i is an 11 plate with 31k. Paid £17k, but I keep cars for at least 4 years, sometimes longer (especially this one 8) ), and only do about 7k miles a year. Also, it is EXACTLY what I wanted.
My last car, that I owned for 5 years, was an A4 Cabriolet, low mileage, that cost about £13k.
As someone said, you get a hell of a lot of car for your money with a Z4!

You'd be far better off with a 25k mile fully loaded E85 3.0si imho, supposing you can find one of course. Can't see the point in buying a mega high mile E89 with low spec, it's going to take some shifting over 100k unless you're going to keep it for the long haul.

You should be buying that Andy...

Cheap car

That said, prices have dropped all over... November/ December isnt a great time for roof off cars...

£2500 E85's and M cars under 10k is not unusual and this time of year

Poor spec + trim i could live with , high miles wouldn't bother me ( providing price reflective ) & neither would naff alloys(easy fix ) but all 3 together is always going to be a big hurdle
Merely watching the 89 market with one eye

Doesn't seem to be so many at bottom end at the moment. I'm guessing due to the time of year.

Surprised with falling E89 used values

So its spring 2016 & where are we with 89 prices ?
I'm after one , its no secret & i have studied long & hard from both AUC to Gumtree .
Ones i "almost" bought in last 3 months range from these examples
private / 59plate Silver 36k 3.0i 18s but no nav - red sport seats £12500 (probably should have bought :( )
Cooper Reading / 59plate 3.5i Grey 60k 18s with nav & sport seats with Remus boxes  £15500 dithered too long & it was sold when rang back
private 09 Havana 36k on 19s with sport seats no nav the lad just wouldn't budge off £14k & 2 months later its still for sale at same money
& the fact that this hasnt sold confirms to me the E89 market is still on shifting sand that's hard to predict just how far they will go south :? a peachy looking Msport in great combo with warranty , been up at least 6 weeks :( 2.3 , no nav , price ? can only be one of those 3 things preventing its sale

Brown cars,SE, small engines and gash spec will always hold a car back whatever make or model..

That's the reality..

Like trying to sell a bog spec, 2.0 E85

Not easy, with a very limited market..

Looks peachy that Andy, what's not to like? Teaching my grandma to suck eggs I know but check it really has got cruise as in the blurb it says it's got electric adjustable seats which it has'nt, usual dealer BS. Makes me laugh how they say 'upgraded sound system', upgraded from what, not having one? It's the base 6 speaker radio so if you like banging tunes it won't deliver in 'pro' form. Lastly AFAIK the E89 does'nt have a heated windscreen in any guise but I could well be wrong, it might have it with comfort access I suppose but I'm not sure.

Other than those picky points it looks great, you could have it in time for the Turnpike.
