Z4 35iS DCT

Post by Cliffy » Tue Jan 20, 2015 4:09 am

Hi Guys,

I have owned a 2013 Z4 2.0 Msport for nearly 2 years now and whilst I love it I would really like the more powerful 35iS with an automatic gearbox.

I was hoping that some of you lovely people on here could point me in the direction of a dealer that could sort me out a deal. My local dealer has not been very impressive since I purchased the car and I am disinclined to go back to them. I am hoping to get into a new 35iS DCT in Valencia orange, with heated seats, professional Hi Fi Loud Speaker system and 19" V spoke 296 wheels for around £450 per month with a £1,000 deposit on a PCP deal. I could be flexible on the colour if a vehicle was in stock but I most definitely need the professional speaker system as the standard speakers are rubbish :!:

Thank you in advance, and I love the forum and have been a lurker on here for some time now :)

Caroline.

Hi Cas,

Try stay away from the 296 wheels and go with the 326's instead. Just issues with cracking but also the 326's look gorgeous

Where in the country are you?

I would also look at Broadspeed and see the deal they are offering as s comparison and mention it to the dealer you use. They are offering £13,448 off the retail, and they have a dealer on their books

Berry Heathrow is a good place to start.

I use Berry too but their other branch. Depends where the orig poster lives... But £14k off one sounds good wherever the dealer is!!

Sounds like you are looking for a very similar car to the one I have on order

Btw - I've owned an E89 with standard HiFi for over 3 years, listen to my music LOUD and it sounded excellent. I believe the upgrades only add significant value if you like to drive around with the roof down and the music cranked or if you like people to feel the "THUD THUD" of you arriving from 200 yards. Finally the upgrades add significant weight.

From my experience you will have issues getting the full £13.4k discount that Broadspeed offer from a local dealer, but you will come close and it's a great bargaining chip.

Good luck.

I bought my 28i last July and got over £11k discount from my local dealer in Peterborough - you should easily be able to negotiate similiar or greater than this on a 35i!

I think you will be hard pushed to get the deal you are after - I tried a few places and got to £450 over 4 years with a £3000 deposit. I got the impression I was not going to get much better if at all though £430 was mentioned once I think it was to keep me interested as opposed to being a real deal.

Just run the numbers using my discount details as a base:
Car: £48400
Discount: £14800
GMFV: £14300
Repayments: 47
Intrest: 6.4% (as of Jan 1st)
Trade-in/deposit: £3750
Monthlies: £451

My car is spec a little higher than your proposed spec so the discount & GMFV is probably on the high side.

Awesome discount, biggest I've seen by a long way.. My car is £50.8k and I couldn't get close to that in November. I notice that the interest rates have gone up quite a bit, but that's irrelevant as there's cheaper places to borrow cash from anyway.

You might want to wait until they've fixed the place up, after Techathy robbed the place it's probably taking a while to repair.

Pretty sure they were offering 9k in November too, but there's one heck of a long way from there to £14,800 :o I'm just thinking that those coming along after you might want to wait until all the bullet holes are patched up and potentially the police have taken away the yellow tape.!

Broadspeed will take you to 13,488 (and they are getting circa £1k aswell)

Tough negotiating could get you 14k off I reckon.
