Boot measurements (top up)
I'm looking to get a Z4 but have a concern about boot size, not space. Could someone please tell me the largest rectangular space in the boot of the Z4 with the top up? The rectangle needs to be about 3cm tall. I've tried asking two dealerships but have got contradictory answers.

Re: Boot measurements (top up)
Someone recently posted a pic of a very large box sitting next to their car that they said had just fitted exactly into the boot.
If you can find the thread they might be able to give you the dimensions of the box.

Yeah, you can get quite a lot in, but it's not a very useful shape... i.e. several small bags/cases is no problem, one big one might be trickier.
If no one else comes up with anything, I'll measure tomorrow.

Re: Boot measurements (top up)
I reckon the 3cm is a mistake though, probably means 30cm

No I mean 3cm. The middle is more like 40cm but towards the edges the platform is only 3cm thick.Nictrix wrote:I reckon the 3cm is a mistake though, probably means 30cm

Jasey, yes I need to know because if it's the wrong size I'll not be buying one! Actually if you could just ship the box to me that'd be great because then I wouldn't need to mock one up my selfJasey wrote:If you really need to know I can measure my large box for you but will have to wait til tomorrow as it's in my loft

Here's some measurements of the central area (ish )
Still not sure which bit is the 3cm you're unsure of though?

No I've got to carry a platform that's 3cm at the edges. Nothing to do with the Z4 boot.jmb wrote:Here's some measurements of the central area (ish )[/.quote]Great thanks.Jasey wrote:800 x 670 x 295 mm.

The 40 cm height in the middle could be an issue - reckon you need to get someone local to let you trytechathy wrote:No I mean 3cm. The middle is more like 40cm but towards the edges the platform is only 3cm thick.Nictrix wrote:I reckon the 3cm is a mistake though, probably means 30cm
