Anyone have a dash cam?

I had the same Taz, but pull it out 3 or 4 times and then it is fine. Just the first few times it is a bit tight.

tried the cam today, my first thoughts are 'the number plates are not very clear'

mine arrived today, looks ok but the connection to the base seems very firm, that's ok but taking out and swapping between cars my be tricky

Thats good... my 0803 had the base slightly wobbly.. an apparent design defect.. so i had to use a thin strip of electrical tape to stop excess vibration.. i guess they fixed that in the 0805

And yeah the plates are not clear especially at night.. as i found out when someone hit the rear of my Z late last year and i drop past them but i coudlnt read their plate from my cam.

Great devices. Clear enough to be used against you, but not clear enough to prove who cut you up / caused the accident ahead.

Not even close to being true. When you're trying to provide evidence your not guilty of a driving offence then the fact the other party isn't identified is neither here nor there.
