Dont bother with a dealer, use a national windscreen fitter

The dealer option will be expensive, if you did mean the wind deflector that goes between the hoops then its pretty easy to install yourself and there's a write up on this forum or the e89 bimmerpost forum somewhere about it.

After reading forum threads about installation for about an hour, it only took an additional hour to install mine. I didn't need new covers. It is easy to just drill them.
To be more responsive to the OP question, My dealer wanted $800 installed. By buying the factory deflector online and installing it myself, I saved over $450.

I just assembled the screen into the mounting strips and temporarily held them in place with tape.
Remove the screen, mark the hole positions then use some short screws and screw into the outer cover.
More than strong enough to hold.
