Torque obd reader

Post by flybobbie » Wed Dec 10, 2014 7:45 pm

Using this https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... e&hl=en_GB on Android Galaxy ace phone and cheap £5 elm327 obd reader.
All works great for anyone wanting a cheap reader.

Just discovering the world of obd readers. Even if you don't have a fault, best to get to know what normal looks like.

Caution if you buy the one like mine which seems quite popular, shape and size like a cigarette packet, with a row of leds.
The connector pins are loose and push in and it looses contact.
Some kind of manufacturing fault.
If you pull the label off, there are four screws to take apart, then push the pins back into place and superglue.

Probably better to buy the mini (blue) version.
