The orange warning light indicating a faulty bulb illuminates momentarily, along with an audible alarm, upon start-up of our six month old Z4.
It quickly goes out and a visual check finds no failed bulbs.
Am I missing something or is this just another glich?

Re: Faulty bulb?
Mine did this due to a bit of corrosion in the terminal on one of the tail light clusters, which I cleaned up with a bit of WD40 and a brush.

Re: Faulty bulb?
Given its six months old, take it to the dealer to check it. Any water in any of the clusters perhaps? When you say you've checked every bulb have you had someone sit in it and press the brakes, operate the indicators etc while you watch front and back?

Re: Faulty bulb?
Never thought to check the reversing lights but guess what, only one of them is working, so presumably that is the cause of the warning lamp.
Oh well, back to Stratstone again!
