Another Caliper Colour Change

Post by jimbo1958 » Wed Oct 29, 2014 2:03 pm

Thanks to Kermit1970 and his thread here http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic ... 23&t=70267 I ordered the Doom Blue kit and painted the Calipers yesterday. Also done the hubs in Hammerite Smooth Silver.

I'm well pleased with the result.

Thanks for the comments guys...can't recommend this paint highly enough.
You mix it with a hardener and it kinda flows out of the brush leaving no brush marks. Very easy to work with.

Looks fab.

Is it feasible to paint calipers without taking wheels off?

Depends on the wheels and how fussy you are. With the 326 wheels the Calipers are very exposed so guess you could do a reasonable job.
