Bulkhead Storage Shelf

Ok, so my 2011 Z4 had a centre bulkhead storage behind and between the seats which was a fixed 3 shelf arrangement.

When I went to put stuff in the same place in my 2013 Z4 today I found a gaping hole to the boot. In the boot was a clip in cover with one shelf ! Now, having opened the packet and clipped it in there was clearly only one shelf supplied as the packet was mint and unopened ... so how do I get another one or two shelves ?

Do Ebay fo them ? BMW themselves no doubt will sell me an extra shelf .... or do I put up with just the one supplied ?

I like the idea of being able to get into the boot for longer items (though it won't be ski's in my case) but I was used to 3 shelves in my slightly older pre lci Z4.

Has anyone gone and got an extra shelf - if so where from ?

It's the thru load facility in lieu of the three shelf thing I believe

Our 2010 has 3 shelves in this space but it is also removable giving you space to put longer items

My 2011 was like that but the 2013 is different ... clip in and only one shelf supplied - and I was two

TBH I never found the arrangement of much use in my previous E89s. Wrong shape for CDs or anything else.

Mine has one shelf but three different heights where the shelf can be slid into.

Not sure about the LCi models but the shelving option came as part of - "S493A - ABLAGENPAKET - Storage compartment package". I think this also included the Luggage net behind the seats.

Behind the net in between the seats is a storage compartment.
The rear of this compartment can be removed from inside the boot giving you space to fit longer items that dont fit in the boot.

Vines BMW have found the part ... three shelves for £32 ...

I only want one but that is not possible - typical lol

I'm pretty sure the three shelves come as part of the extended storage option, cost £175 or as a job lot with the comfort pack, certainly had them in my 23i and that had the comfort pack

I have the comfort pack on my 35is and only 1 shelf. Not that I care much. Just letting you know
