S08 just checked mine there, only have 1 shelf & a door that opens to allow ski or long items into the boot. I also have comfort pack & extended storage.

Mine (2010 23i M Sport) has the Comfort package. I've had it over 18 months and only found the 3 shelves today after reading this thread. I'd never looked before :lol:
2010 E89 23i MSport Auto, Alpine white with Coral red Kansas leather. Comfort * Connectivity packages, Heated seats, Auto dimming mirror, Wind deflector, Smart top.
Other toy is a Ducati 1200 Multistrada.

I've only the 1 shelve in mines too. i did try putting cans of redbull and gummy sweeties there for the other half when driving about but the noise from the can moving annoyed me to F! but when we go on long drives I remove the shelve and put a bag of goodies in the boot right at opening so I don't have to re arrange the boot to get something to eat or drink :thumbsup:

I also have comfort and extended storage in my 35is.

Perhaps the one shelf only is a weight saving measure especially for the 35is :rofl:

I wonder if there's any 12 volt cooler bags which will fit comfortably in that space? The glovebox doesn't have an Aircon outlet does it?
