Hi Guys,

Well im like a kid a christmas eve. Pickup 35is at 11am in the morning. Was hoping for some nice weather, but forcast is cloud cloud cloud.

Had a pre lCI 23i model back in 2011. Was ok but not enough ump.

so i will post pics up asap.

You will be even more of a kid when you get the car trust me. Weather will not hamper the experience, trust me again. Once you hear that engine growl you will know what I am sayin'!

Greer 4411 Same as me, changing my 23i for a 35is for the same reason, not enough grunt, ordered mine about 3 weeks ago, got to wait till early January for delivery, when did you order yours?

I Ordered at the start of August, I told the dealer i wanted it asap if they wanted the business, otherwise i was phoning around. At first was told Dec, then Oct, and was told it had a build slot of the 1st week in sept. 10 days later its here.

Just took my M135i out for one last drive before it go's. Great Car, engine and 8 speed box. Just lack looks and special-ness, as if you get in any other 1 series its the same.

So i hope the 35is is going to be as good, just a bit dubious that it is older tech (e series) over the (F series). N54 engine over N55 engine etc. you would think that the new tech is meant to be an improvement over older tech. could be wrong we will soon find out.

I got a great discount off the z435is which involved me putting no money in and keeping the payments the same. so cant argue.

I was initially told November delivery, then had a call to tell me it had been put back to January, which suited me as I don't use the Z4 during the winter, and at least it will now be 2015 registered.

Hi Guys,

Well collected yesterday at 11am. Done 150 miles in it so far. It feels very special, very special. The DCT box is a lot different to the 8 speed ZF box of the M135i.

No forward roll when you take your foot off the brake, which i got used to in the M135i. Im guessing it needs revs to engage the clutch or something.

anyway here are some crap iphone pics for now, until i get my detailing kit out at the weekend.
