Belgium trip run in

Post by Baronbb » Mon Aug 25, 2014 8:21 pm

So, was able to run in my new s20i on a trip to the Belgium gp.
Had a great time, apart from being disappointed for lh, and was mightily impressed with the comfort and performance.
Did nearly 700 miles without incident (apart from a wrist slapping from the Belgium police!) and covered it all for about £110 in petrol so pretty cheap (apart from said wrist slapping).
Only disapointment was finding that it doesn't look great parked next to a konigImagesegg!!

Where did you park? I was there to in my Z4m. Took nearly 2 hours to get onto the moving road from the carpark.

I didn't see any police at all. Everyone seemed to have a good pace on the way home. Only slow bit was on the Brussels ring road.

For qualifying drove in from b&b and parked in yellow 7-8 car park. Not too far but on grass and lots of hill walking. Also grounded front wing on a rough bit but no real damage. For the race another chap had a press pass so dropped us off at press entrance and taxi back. I think problem was I didn't see police either, they caught me on a gantry cam and then caught up with me. As I said no real ordeal.
