Actually I want a used one because I dont want to keep it for too long but I just can't bring my self to pay £25k for a used car when a new one is only a few thousand more. A 3 year old car should be around 40% cheaper then new plus a little bit for the optional extras, so around £20k for a used Si sound about right to me.
I would expect an example with high spec to retain its value percentage wise much better than one with very few options, because for many it makes more appeal and would be more desirable on resale. So call it 45% of its original list price of in excess of 50k comes to at least 23k then add a couple of grand the extra desirability and it comes to around 25k which looks about right.
Now - N/A

Then... E89 sDrive35iS(2012-2013), E89 sDrive30i(2011-2012), E85 3.0si Sport Roadster(2009-2011), Z3 2.8(2005-2009).

It can be an issue on any of the 19 inch wheels on any of the BMW range, however most reports have been made on the E9X's but that's because the 3 series is a very popular model.
