DVD player

Post by ronk » Sat Aug 02, 2014 6:48 pm

I've noticed on the spec sheet of my car that it has a DVD player. No doubt plenty others have this but how many have used it.
I can't think when I would use the facility - i haven't used it yet!

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

I use mine almost every day. Driving home in the evening. I can listen to a film. If its a film you know, you dont need to watch.

Current on Layer Cake and A Big Year. :D
Why is it that people who can't take advice always insist on giving it?

I must give it a try!
Now I've got to see if it also plays copied DVDs as well as the proper bought from the shop variety!

The night I got my car I went outside with a DVD and Ta da! Thought this is pretty pointless but totally get the listening to the words especially if it's a fav film then you already can picture the scenes. I might give it a bash with home alone 2. Mike more than likely will jump out the car lol!

It's an age give away when a film from that era is a favourite!

Is there any way to hack the DVD function and enable it to play discs from other regions like the USA (Region 1)? I import a lot of Blurays and they often come with DVDs which are otherwise good as beer mats if anything.
