Similar figures.... V-power on every fill, don't actually know whether it makes a real difference. TBH I didn't get this car to be green but for the growl

Re: 35is MPG
Last Z4 35iS ... around town 22mpg. On a run 33mpg.
Today, 'new' Z4 35iS ... 32mpg on the M25 at 70mph for about 60 miles.
Not too shabby considering the performance available - though watch the figure drop like lead when exercising ones right foot

Re: 35is MPG
23 mpg in the 3 months and 2k miles I've had mine.
Thats mostly my short commute to work over twisty roads, when I generally spank it in sport+ with the paddles. And a few motorway trips at 80 cruise control in comfort.

42MPG!
Isn't that basically heavy-foot 35d territory? I guess keeping the revs below a certain threshold activates lean-burn (only on Euro spec cars I'm told) which increases touring range. The 55 litre tank doesn't seem so small now...
What are the revs cruising on the motorway in seventh at, say, 70mph?

Re: 35is MPG
When I got the 42mpg, it wasn't by travelling strictly below (or at) 70mph. Aircon on, 2 people in car, 50kg of stuff in the boot (boxes of metal parts).
I find keeping a steady pace at any speed below 80 lets you get near to this figure (40ish) over most trips that are 100 mile upwards.
I reckon driving solo with an empty boot & aircon off, sticking to 70 you could get better than this - but not interested in trying.
If I'm honest, I find getting mid 30s more impressive when out & about on the A roads with a bit more hooning about.
I'm pretty impressed with the mpg for what it is.

Re: 35is MPG
The MPG will surely be better with the roof up I suppose too.
