lol the X5M is a whole different animal when it comes to fuel, 12mpg average, sub 10s when your foot is downNictrix wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2017 11:04 pmNot an X5M but I have an X6 40D and can get over 600 miles out a tank. I think the Z would run out first.sunnydays wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2017 9:50 pmIts okay, just wait for the x5 to brake fade or for it to run out of fuel. Which ever comes first and you will be goneTwin Turbo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2017 8:54 pm
An X5M - are very capable cars - I had one behind me and could not believe it was keeping up with me. I was gaining distance through corners and braking, but on the straights, it was gaining ground.

I had a low miles 3.0l and now have a 35is - the 35is a noticeably faster car and feels more well put together somehow.
The old 3.0 always seemed a bit nervous on our Germany trips - always a bit on edge at 120/130 - maybe an align would have sorted it but the new car came along.
Having said all that, I think if I was presented with your dilemma, I would go for the low miles 3.0l especially if you intend to keep the car for a while or do a lot more miles and if it’s a toy - it has to have six pots - the 3.0l is quite stealthy until pushed hard.

You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Drive them all and decide for yourself which feels the best for you, they are all very different beasts. Enjoy whichever you decide.
