Not running them any more as changed mine out but having looked into wheels a bit for mine so not quoting from experience but I would say yes, up to 10 or 15 mm is possible with out issue.

This might help with your research

http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

I've gone up to 8.5 front and 9.5 rear with a 5mm spacer on the front. 326's are 8 front 9 rears. New wheels fill out the arches nicely now.

I used the calculator to help me understand this dark art plus some valuable feedback from the knowledgeable forum gurus on here.

I'm looking at lowering springs next to close the vertical gap, another dark art :?
E89/28i Msport gone :( .. Zx10r track bike gone… time for a KTM 350 exc-f and some green laning and dirt bike excursions…. Let’s see how this goes… :

Nice :)
What Spacers Do you have?
Why none on the front?

Does it affect the handling in a bad way?

On a standard suspension setup (m Sport) 20mm rear is fine. I tried it on Eibachs and a 35 profile rear tyre and it scrubbed like mad!

12mm in the front was perfect and caused no issues.

I ended up putting the 12's on the rear and leaving the fronts alone. Tempted to try 15mm on the rear but it still rubs now over big dips etc.

Thanks!

Will probably try 5mm front and 10mm rear with standard springs.

I've put 15mm on the rear of my msport, 326s with stock 255/30 tyres and I do get some very minor rubbing when giving it the boot round fast bends

It'll sort itself out in the end :P

I'm waiting untill I've installed my Eibach springs to see what sort of clearance I've got but I'm pretty sure I'll be going for 10mm on the front

If you take the amount of plastic liner you have in your hand and times it by about 100 that would give you an idea of how much I melted with a 20mm spacers on Eibachs and a 35 profile from a 5 minute test drive!!!
