They are competitive and were the cheapest for my 3.0
My biggest problem was getting them to accept my no claims discount. I posted it twice and emailed it three times before it got through the system

Remember with Swiftcover that they use recycled and patent parts for repairs, not OEM.

I have given Adrian Flux a few tries over the years, never got a quote off them to beat my cheapest. Currently with Endsliegh, tried swiftcover, but they left out protected no claims, legal cover and windscreen cover, this was through a comparision site. So I then went direct to there site, added the extras and no suprises it ended up a lot higher :x

Has anyone had experience of making claims through swift cover? I just wonder if it's a lot of hassle as they're an internet only insurer.

Can't see that one myself. If your car is on hire purchase from BMW that will be breaking the agreement as it should be repaired with OEM parts only as they still technically own the car until paid off!

Second hand is still OEM I suppose.

When you say breaking the agreement, that is between the hirer and BMW so therefore it is a problem for the hirer that they chose an insurer that is not sufficient?

Is there a requirement when hire / purchase to have fully comp insurance by the way?
