ZedFest help!
Hi all,
I'm in the middle of a rear end conversion from pre to facelift. Sorted the rear bumper but I need help with coding in/out the various elements required to get lights to all work correctly. Voltage, check lights, etc.
Is someone going to ZedFest that can help?? If you've done it before that would help immensely as I've just got a long list of things to do from the How To thread and not too sure what they all mean!
Thanks, Kis

Will also have Carly with me, disabled the voltage checks before. However, you may also want to contact Neil (our genial host for the day) as he's done the install and coding for his zed, when he upgraded his rear lights to facelift

Cheers guys, I've got Carly myself and I think it's more complicated than just a few on/off toggles on their menu system. Half the stuff I need done isn't available on the menu system (it is really good, but limited).
I've spoken to Neil earlier about other issues, he said he'll have time to have another crack at coding my airbag module on the day. But the rear lights thing will be a bit more time intensive...
I need someone with NCS or another more "advanced" coding software... anyone?

Wouldn't Navcoder do this?

No idea, need to do the following:
1. the tail lights and break light is on
well, to prevent the "t" effect, you just have to code your light control module - in german the code is:
BREMSLICHT_ALS_STANDLICHT
nicht_aktiv
this means the breaklight should not longer work as your side markers and then they are off. everything works as intended (break, tail light..)
2. flickering of taillight / 6V issue
PWM_ANSTEUERUNG_SL_RE_HI
wert_01
PWM_ANSTEUERUNG_SL_LI_HI
wert_01
this gives 12v to the tail lights without further modications.
3. bulbs in the cockpit / dashboard
just deactive the checkcontrols and everything is fine.

The checks/warnings etc Navcoder can do. The 12v/6v bit I'm not so sure about...

Yeah I want to code T effect out and ensure enough voltage is getting to the units. So really best to do it all at once. Well I guess I can put them in the boot, and remain hopeful
