3rd break light - clear or red on Atlantis Metallic

Post by Gr3g4 » Mon Jul 24, 2017 8:51 am

I've got my roadster in the body shop for rear facelift conversion and for a repaint in Atlantis Metallic. Right now there is clear 3rd break light installed which is a bit cracked. I'm gonna change it with a new one, but i'm unsure what color would best suit the Atlantis color, clear or should I go with red? Is there any unwritten rule for what color goes with either one? For example, clear on black or red on blue? :oops:

I'd stick with red on a blue car.
Although I don't think I've seen any car where I've thought the white one looked better - just look 'cheap' or 'Halfords' to me :fuelfire:

@jamie_z4 will do! :)

@mmm-five yeah i think red should look better but I guess I should see some pictures with red on blue and clear on blue to decide though.

Ok, i think I'll go with the red one. Much nicer with blue imo (don't mind the ugly rear bumper with the clear 3rd light picture, it's just for reference. :D).

I personally think the clear light suits the car / colour, as well! :)

@Rally yeah, Atlantis color is really something else and it stands out so much. It's so hard to capture it on camera to do it justice though. After it's done I'll show it here. :thumbsup:

A little preview.. :D
