Recently fitted a 35w hid kit and the improvement is fantastic....but could I move up to a 55w safely?

I fitted quite an old kit I'd had lying around for a couple of years...the light output is so much better. I fitted a 4300K one so white rather than blue. Much improved on halogen and yes pretty easy fit
