Rob, I don't see any issues with your timing requirements depending on when Mike can get down here. i assume he will be early as he can do 8 in the day, so 6-8 hours work, plus the drive each way.
Mike, what start time works for you ?
Cheers, James
Can be there for about 10?
Mike

OK,
Latest update. I am happy to host at my house (decent size double garage) with coffee and bacon butties for all - I'll confirm the address via PM.
Day will start at 10am with Rob_benton being up first. Usel will be one of the last as he is only free from 2pm. Other timings TBC depending on whether we can get the extra two for a full house of 8 Zs on the day.
I will speak to Mike ref payment as I think it is only fair to pay something upfront to ensure his initial costs (fuel and covering the shop) are covered and as an incentive for everyone to show up !!
Thanks again to all.
To other Z4 owners in the Cambridgeshire area - there are two place left on the day 913th May). Total cost if we get 8, for location or relocation and bringing a dead motor back to life, will be just £105 - a total bargain.
Be quick if interested

Hi James,
I'm located in Essex, but am more than happy to head over to Cambridge or Peterborough if there are any spaces left. Either location is not too far away, especially considering how far Mike is travelling. My roof motor is working but I panic every time it rains.
Thanks to everyone involved getting this organised and especially Mike for undertaking such a big challenge.

Ok guys. All in my diary for the 13th. If anyone else wants to jump on board, I think the max for a day would around 10, allowing for the fact that some may need more work than others ie seized motors etc.

Now up to 7. However, Mike has said he could push himself and do 10 on the day, so still 3 spaces - even cheaper for the rest of us

Your going to need a full body massage after doing 10 of those in a day Mike. Two or three in a day and I feel like I'm 10 years older

This is probably going to sound like a really stupid question but do I need to remove the motor, only I thought removing and refitting the hood was a 2 hour job in itself?
