Yea I'm in - the only thing stopping me would be my Sons' graduation but not for a month or so yet so just a matter of seeing how dates fit.

Nathan in Mid Suffolk with a roof motor thats just died too, more than happy to take the short ride over to Cambridgeshire for it to get the kiss of life if spaces availble ! If so jsut let me know when, not much fun at the mo driving around with the hood up on a nice day, especially as it won't open manually either as the hydraulic release isn't working either !

Sure sign of a corroded motor is the release not working - It's a small brass plunger in the alloy pump housing and it will seize due to the corrosion. Easy fix though, plus you'll never need it again once the motor is snug and dry in the boot.

OK guys,

Mike is free on Saturday 13th May - how does this sit for all? Ideally we will need a garage or some indoor space. I am happy to do this at mine in Peterborough or if Cambridge is better for most, I am open to travelling if someone wants to volunteer some space.

Thoughts please ...

Cheers, James

I can do 13th May but would need to leave by 11am as I'm at Wembley in the afternoon. Sorry to be a pain.

I'm up for this. Seems silly not to have it done as Mike is coming all this way. Can I be as late as possible on the Saturday as I have to work until around 2pm

Hi Usel, I've added you - you are now number 6.

1. jnwright71
2. Rusky
3. Rob_benton
4. Crazy Harry
5. Natheynath1970
6. Usel

Rob, I don't see any issues with your timing requirements depending on when Mike can get down here. i assume he will be early as he can do 8 in the day, so 6-8 hours work, plus the drive each way.

Mike, what start time works for you ?

Cheers, James

13th works for me, anytime of the day, Cambridge or Peterborough is fine as well, no brainier before I go and shell out for a new motor.
