@ Kap'nZ4 , wheel choice being like a holiday destination what works for some doesn't work for all but you need to look at adding some spacers to get a better stance as right now they look tiny in the arches
what wheel widths / offsets are they
8.5x18 front and 9.5x18 back both a +40et. There was an offset of +35 and wish I had gone ahead and got those instead. The 203's I had on it were +47et, so they do stick out a little farther than what as on it.
Looking to add 20mm spacers front and 30mm in the back.
Per the hot wheels comment, that's what chrome does for you. Personally I don't care if any one likes them or not. I do and proud to sport around in my baby.
In my area a Z4 is plenty rare, and always getting asked about it. The bling rims defo draw more attention, but that's the fun part about it.
Meeting new people, let alone people that drive other BMW's around my area almost always flash headlights when we cross paths on the road way.
My Z4 is similar to many others out there in the world, but I strive to make it stand apart in subtle ways.
Next scheduled difference will be taking my tinted windows that are currently 50% to 25%(July) and there's the 12 year old windshield cowl that's splitting and ugly that needs replaced (on order) and either chrome or black out the grills. Still undecided there.
Everything right now is about the cosmetics of the car, since I have taken care of all the mechanical's under the hood and under the car.
The wife, in the beginning kept looking at me like I was a fool, called it a piece of junk. Now she wants to go on trips in it.
Even agrees that the next trip will require it to be hauled to California and drive it up and down the cost line on road 101 I believe its called. .....
In the mean time I have wants of redoing the interior to a slate gray to near black with lavender stitching. Tucked or rolled is still undecided, Piano black on the dash trim and bits, but that's still a couple years down the road.
In the meantime, It is getting miles put on her, her garage queen days are done for now. Well, unless it rains.... and till winter sets in.
